About

Well babe, It all started in 1971 (Jordana, year 3) when I discovered my passion for lip synching to Shirley Temple’s “The Good Ship Lollypop” on my parents fireplace. I am told I put on quite the show and have been lucky enough to support myself in a similar fashion since the early 90′s. New Yorkers should be grateful I that have stayed a Dancer Choreographer all this time and waited tables only briefly because if I had your drink on my tray, it inevitably ended up in your lap. Or, someone’s purse.
I am a natural bossypants but I also love to sit around making things and this is what has ultimately landed me in the Director’s chair. Its a compulsion really. I make Dances, sure. And they are nothing if not unique. But I also make Jewellery – Costumes – Films – Photographs – Collages in addition to the Dances so all the aspects of visual design are my friends. In my time here in NY as a Dancer Director Choreographer, I have made costumes, head pieces, hats, styled the moves, designed the make up and hair, I have written a musical line with Tom for our shows at POON Productions, I have coached many actors to dance and at my best moments, have helped to create stars out of performers by personalizing my one of a kind dance style to suit the individual needs of each artist. I intend to share all of that past present and future with you here and on my Blog.
As you will see, it has been a crazy ride held together by a hot glue gun and a bobby pin. My one of a kind approach to choreography has worked wonders for clients like Casey Spooner and his band (Fischerspooner), Cynthia Hopkins and her band (Gloria Deluxe), Donna Delory (Madonna) and currently soul singer Miasha Fisher just to name a few. I have utilized my approach for their tours, musicals productions, music videos, theatre, photo shoots and more. While my style and my moves are inimitable, my company, POON Productions, is the calling card where a lot of this bubbling creativity comes to life. In my work for Theaters, Private Parties, and Events all of NYC you can see a lifelong passion for rhythmic and aesthetic detail, a commitment to craftsmanship and unsurpassable energy that is effusive and contagious. With this diverse body of work and experience behind me, my work keeps evolving, naturally setting me apart from other choreographers for hire.
So, Thanks for stopping by angel face. Enjoy the site. Let me know what you think
