Performance Bio

From 1991–1998 Toback toured extensively with world renowned choreographer Mark Morris, relocating to Brussels, Belgium with the company for a good part of ’91–’94. Toback took full advantage of down time in NYC by performing with such notable Bessie Award winning choreographers as Pam Tanowitz, Patricia Hoffbauer/George Emilio Sanchez, Amy Pivar (of Bill T. Jones), Douglas Dunn/Joshua Fried, as well as Jen Sargent, David Dorfman and Ronald K. Brown at NYU. She has also performed as an actress at The Ontological Theatre in St Mark’s Church, in shows directed by Johanna S. Meyer (Teaser, Every Motel TV Plays On), Robert Cucuzza and DJ Mendel known for his extensive work with avant-garde film maker Hal Hartley and avant-garde theatre pioneer Richard Forman.
