Sunset Salome (1994-1996)

The Salome Norma Desmond wanted to direct for the criminally insane. I was assistant to the Director/Choreographer and I danced and performed in the shows. We did a lot of Sufi twirling and belly dance shimmies with scarves and bangles. It was all very Isadora Duncan meets Mesopotamian, if you know what I mean.
Performed at HERE, HOME for Contemporary Theater and at The Vineyard Theater, NYC.
Directed and Choreographed by Peter Wing Healey
Music by Max Kinberg
Libretto by Peter Wing Healey
